Tree Removal Project 樹木伐採プロジェクト

In the 1990s, an invasive insect species called the Emerald Ash Borer was accidentally introduced into the US, but was only detected in 2002. It spread to 14 states and adjacent parts of Canada, destroying 50 to 100 million ash trees so far. About 30 of those trees were located inside of MA Center Chicago, and died even before we acquired this facility.


Since Amma came here in July, we have been planning to remove the dead ash trees, and finally found the opportunity to do so in late March. The full slideshow of the project is here, and videos follow below.
