MACC Kitchen Food Safety Orientation

On February 16th, Jayashree Reed and Jimmy Glazebrook of the kitchen team gave us all a presentation on the “what, why, and how” of complying with the health regulations pertaining to an industrial kitchen like ours. It included a tour of the kitchen, equipment, and basic health code procedures. Full slideshow is here.

Volunteers gained the know-how to feel more comfortable offering their service in the kitchen, whether they cook, clean up, set up satsang or pujas, want to do future service projects, or just want to “pass through” to the back door. People aged 14 and up attended.
