Permaculture Event in Chicago

As part of the vision for MA Center Chicago’s future activities, we invited one of the world’s foremost experts in permaculture, Mr. Warren Brush. In addition to performing a 2 day consultancy on site at the center, Warren gave an evening talk entitled “Peace in Permaculture,” in the middle of Chicago on February 10th. The slideshow is here.

The hall was the historic Hull House museum, where Swami Vivekananda spoke 120 years ago.

Here are some photos from the program.

Immediately after the program, we received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, such as:

This was one of the best and most inspiring lectures I have ever seen. Warren Brush is a true visionary, with an inspiring way of weaving together ideas with story-telling. I came away with a refreshed vision of what permaculture can do, and moreover, what it means to be human and how we can live a fulfilled, impactful, and respectful life. Thanks so much for this event!

I am a different being walking out of his presentation. The phenomenal storytelling, and what is possible was pouring in light to the crack in my heart.

That was such an inspiring talk. You get the sense that he knows he has a message he needs to share with people, but he doesn’t think of it as “his message.” He’s just living out his gift.

Indeed a great night last night. I am looking forward to taking a course with Warren.
